Every man carries an instinctive desire to conquer the unknown. We love to conquer a challenge and arise the hero. It's why we hunt, fish, climb cliffs, drive fast, play sports, and arm wrestle. It's also the reason we pursued a woman who was way out of our league.
No self-respecting man goes after a woman who throws herself at him. For centuries men have had to win the heart of their lady. Men will write poems, do crazy stunts, and boldly profess their love no matter how much ridicule they receive.
For most men, the wedding day is looked upon as the finish line... "I won, now I can relax!". However, for women, the wedding day is only the starting line.
The Hunter's Club exists to hold men accountable to planning one great date a month.
We meet on the first THURSDAY of every month at Mission Springs to review/evaluate the past month's dates and plan the upcoming month.
Every guy needs some help and accountability in ensuring that we continue to pursue and win the heart of our lady each and every day. If you'd like this help RSVP today.
You must RSVP your spot by contactingClint Nelson (604.826.0497; 604.329.0803; cnelson@pacificlife.edu). PLEASE TIP VERY GENEROUSLY.
At each meeting the group will rate the previous month's date out of 10. The man with the highest point total at the end of the year will receive the Remington Romeo award.
To Bring List:
- Pen or Pencil
- A rough idea of your next date
- A specific date and time that works for you and your wife
THE HUNTER'S CLUB DOES NOT ENDORSE OR SUPPORT THE LITERAL HUNTING OF ONE'S SPOUSE. THE TERMS "HUNTING" AND "HUNTER" ARE METAPHORS FOR THE ROLE EVERY MAN IS TO PLAY IN THE PURSUING OF ONE'S OWN SPOUSE.
